Check out Gunner Williams’ Band, dangerous robot

I formed dangerous robot in 2007 in Scottsdale, Arizona and the line-up has changed several times but the main theme and concept has stayed the same. I originally developed the band to play live music to compliment NOISE art shows and then took it a step further and recorded the music to be available on Amazon as a CD or MP3 for download. Music is just as important to me as my artwork and allows me to express myself in other ways.

Since the band has always had a two person line-up my biggest influence is the White Stripes; however, Calexico, APC, TOOL, Nirvana, The Doors, The Cult, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones and The New York Dolls were all buzzing around in my head at the time I wrote these songs.

My influences for the imagery come from “The Twilight Zone” and “Metropolis” while the concepts behind the imagery come from the movie “Zeitgeist” and the band Ministry. I am a huge Al Jourgensen fan.

I’ve completed three more songs since this recording and have four more in the hopper which I hope to record soon.

If you click “The Music” button it will take you to a page where you can sample the music and also purchase the CD and MP3s through Amazon.

Peace,

Gunner
